WELCOME!  This is an on-going story about Red and his adventures.

Red’s Story:  The Beginning

I was born the summer of 2000 to a loving mother and father. I had 5 other brothers and sisters. We had a wonderful time playing and chasing each other around, but I always had the feeling I was different. I always wanted to know what was in the next yard or across the street. I was never content to stay home with the family. So, in the spring I told my mother and father I was going to see what was out in the big world around me. They were sad, but they knew I had places to go and things to do.

I wandered around the town chasing birds and squirrels and making friends with other kids and learning to stay away from the big things that make a lot of noise (I found out they are called "dogs"). One day I found this yard with a nice deck I could sleep under at night and a family to play with. They bought me food and gave a room to live in. They called it a gazebo, but I called it Heaven.

They took me to a place where a nice human checked me over and gave me a bath (I had fleas).

They also had 2 small humans that came over on weekends and played with me. The humans had a pool and would splash me. It was a fun time.

Part 2:
That fall and winter I got in a few fights with some of the other cats in the neighborhood, I won most of them. When my Mom and Dad took me to the vet to patch me up from one of my fights The vet said I have Kitty AIDS, but he said I probably would live a long time.

Last summer & fall the family had parties every Friday night which was a lot of fun but the gazebo started getting pretty crowded so the family built a room for me and called it Red's Place, and the Gazebo is now called The Litter Box and the people call themselves Gazebo Degenerates. We had a grand opening party at the end of Jan.  There were about 25 people an all had on red sweatshirts with the Red’s Place logo on them.

Some day I’ll tell you about when I went to Hollywood and met Cindy, and the Fab 5 and other important people.
